Travertine is often referred to as Travertine Marble and falls somewhere between the marble and limestone. It is formed by dissolved limestone, mixed with steam under great pressure. It is used for flooring and provides several different “looks” by the use of tumbling and honing and filling any deep fissres.

Westones travertine comes in a variety of finishes including a hand-chiseled edge and an “Opus” pattern which, when mixed sizes are used, provides and “old world” effect. Finishes include honed and filled, polished and filled, antique brushed unfilled, tumbled unfilled and in mosaic tile and flagstones.

Available sizes include 12”x12”, 16”x16”, 18”x18”, 12”x18”, 12”x24” and 16”x24”.
