Travertine
tiles are a very dense form of calcium carbonate and
although a limestone, travertine tiles are more usually
considered as marble. Due to its formation voids occur
in the surface; these are either filled at the quarry
or during fixing. Travertine tiles are a hard wearing,
practical yet timeless floor covering that has to be
seen to be appreciated. Colours vary from pale to dark
cream and beige with an attractive surface variation.
